Honorable Thomas I. Temple
Judge Thomas I. Temple is a Superior Court Judge in the Fourth Judicial District in Fairbanks. He enlisted in the Marines at age seventeen, serving as a machine gunner during the Gulf War. Judge Temple then worked his way through college and law school at George Mason University, while serving in the Army National Guard. In 2001, he moved to Alaska and served as a prosecutor in Fairbanks, Anchorage, and Utqiaġvik, before entering private practice in Fairbanks, focusing on criminal defense and civil litigation. Judge Temple was appointed to the bench in 2018 and serves on the Criminal Rules Committee and the Court Security and Emergency Preparedness Committee.
