Robert D. Sheldon
Robert Sheldon is a lifelong Alaskan who was raised in Talkeetna. He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in Economics from Colorado State University. Robert has served as a partner or director for privately held organizations in aviation, banking, finance, oil and gas, and tourism. He also is active in the business community facilitating, financing, and encouraging relationships across high latitudes and is a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, an international economics society. His broad interest in finance extends to understanding interconnections with the judiciary. Robert has been married to Marne Sheldon for 27 years and they raised three sons. His interests include family, remote rafting, and exploration. He was appointed to the Commission in 2008.
